Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County (CYP) is excited to announce our 13th Annual Kidsfest event! This exciting festival for young children will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo from 9:30am – 12:30pm. Children, parents, grandparents and child care programs are invited to participate in a morning of music, games, crafts, exploration, and play activities, all for FREE!

Despite having been put on hold due the pandemic for the last two years, we are thrilled to be able to return to Festival Park in-person once again this year to bring this exciting celebration of young children back to the Dare County community.

During KidsFest, Roanoke Island Festival Park’s beautiful grounds will be filled with children’s stations set up with all types of play activities such as fire trucks, EMS vehicles, characters, bubbles, music, arts and crafts, and much more. In 2019, children were able to play and participate in more than 60 exciting activities, all carefully selected for preschool children.

Children & Youth Partnership (CYP) is currently seeking exhibitors to be a part of KidsFest 2022 by presenting an activity that is child-friendly and age-appropriate for young children up to the age of five.

Don’t have an activity for kids but want to be involved? Ask us about how you can volunteer or help sponsor this well-loved event in our community.
